Gabe Raines brings Sun Castle to Jack’s Joint! They will begin the night with a piece for acoustic guitar ensemble. Gabe has an incredible artistic mind and is excellent at bringing artists together. Expect a loose, flexible structure with plenty of room for expressive improvisation. This will be an experience.Next, Dave Stone will take a set with a mystery guest!?!?!
Following this will be a duo of Kevin Cheli (percussion) and Danny Pankratz (guitar) doing another set of improvised music. Danny's improvisational style is heavily influenced by the classical guitar tradition, emphasizing tone and technique, but he also makes frequent use of prepared guitar and other extended techniques.
Ending things will be a group improvisation!
