Vancouver’s Daniel Majer’s performance will consist of contemporary sound collages of YouTube videos, field recordings, cassettes, and LPs from the dollar bin. His recent record came out on Jan Jelinek’s Faitiche label.
Mark Templeton will be performing pieces off of his recent photobook and album “Ocean Front Property” - a prism of banal surfaces, spaces, and sonic textures. The work was released by Senufo Editions and later published by The Ice Plant and Graphical.
Idlefon is Hesam Ohadi, Iranian Canadian musician based in Calgary, AB. Their work can mainly be associated with the broad spectrum of modern visceral ambient, fusing muted elements of IDM and glitch into each work’s vastness. Recently, Idlefon has found a home on the Oakland-based emotive experimental label n5MD.
