Anglo-French violinist and vocalist Daniel John Martin is an incredibly active and valued members of the Paris jazz scene. He is regularly seen in the UK at venues and Jazz Festivals and has worked alongside many of the greats, including Angelo Debarre, Romane, Adrien Moignard and Boulou Ferré.Daniel studied at the famous Paris Conservatoire and toured and recorded with the late great Didier Lockwood. He has released several successful albums, most recently “Rendez-Vous” with friend and collaborator Romane. Daniel’s infectious style and charm warms the hearts and ears of all those who see him perform.
Swing Manouche are led by guitarist Mick Shoulder and are based upon Django’s Nouveau Quintet. They are just as likely to be influenced by modern players as they are from the tradition. Gypsy jazz, originals and musette.
