Just when you thought that modern dating was nerve-wracking enough, it just got a whole lot more hair tingling and most certainly more fun in Manchester. We’re about to make this a date night that you’ll never forget by introducing you to one of MFC’s most iconic events; axe-throwing.This event is for singles who fancy dating a little bit differently and meeting offline, IRL. If it sounds right up your street then you’ll be in for a night of learning various throwing techniques as well as getting to compete against other singles to hit the target.
For those of you who are a little dubious about dangerous dating, do not fear! Instructors are on hand all evening to help. After the axe throwing, we'll mingle in Whistle Punks' new bar!
MFC Manchester is known for its friendly attendees and fun events which sit under the categories Eat, Drink, Think & Move. If you've been to our events before we know you're no stranger to our team putting you through your paces on our active evenings - zero pressure dating with a difference. Important to know: We'll begin hurling deadly weapons from 18:30 promptly with our safety guidelines so please arrive on time. As this date night involves axe throwing please be sure to avoid alcohol consumption prior to the event.
Venue note: in line with Whistle Punks' new session structure, this will be ran as two 6-person lanes with 15 minutes' delay (two start times, 18:30 and 18:45!). There WILL be plenty of opportunity to intermingle afterwards at a secondary venue.
COVID note: We're keeping our fingers crossed the lockdown easing goes to plan. If not, these dates are subject to change! We hope to see you sooner rather than later!
