Edúcate Ya is excited to announce our 14th Annual Gala and Fundraiser, Dando Bailando "Viva la Vida" which will be held from 5 to 9pm, at The Laurelhurst Club. We had to cancel last year's gala which marks our 20th anniversary as a non-profit for the Portland area community, but we are hoping to make it up this year with a celebration that will include live music from Cuba Ache, lots of dancing (with a short dancing lesson included), a silent auction with pieces from local artists and businesses, coffee tasting from Trailhead Coffee Roasters, beverages from Hopworks, Deschutes, Winderlea Winery and Oregon Tonic Kombucha, a delicious Oaxacan mole from Mixteca Restaurant and a dessert bar with local goods from Ice Queen and Pix Pattiserie!
With a hundred attendees, this will be our biggest fundraiser of the year and a great place to connect and support the Latinx community in a meaningful way.
Tickets vary from $20-$50 depending if you would like to arrive at 5pm and have dinner (plus a drink on us!) or at 6:30pm after dinner. We also have full VIP tables available with extra perks! Both options have access to dessert, coffee, silent auction, no-host bar and all the dancing!
Edúcate Ya los invita a nuestra Gala y recaudación de fondos “Dando Bailando, Viva la Vida”, que ocurrirá de 5 a 9pm en el Laurelhurst Club. Tuvimos que cancelar la gala del año pasado, cual marco nuestro 20 aniversario, pero vamos a compensar esta año con una celebración que incluirá música en vivo por Cuba Ache, mucho baile (con lección corta incluida), una subasta silenciosa con piezas de artistas y negocios locales, cata de café con Trailhead Coffee Roasters, bebidas de Hopworks, Deschutes, Winderlea Wine y Oregon Tonic Kombucha, delicioso mole Oaxaqueno del restaurante Mixteca y dulces de Ice Queen y Pix Pattiserie!
Esta será nuestra celebración más grande y una gran oportunidad de conectar y ayudar la comunidad latinx de una manera especial!
Los boletos varían de $20 a $50 dependiendo si gusta llegar a las 5pm para comer (y tomar una bebida de nuestra parte!) o prefiere llegar a las 6:30 después de la cena. Igualmente tenemos la opcion de reservar mesas VIP completas con detalles extra! Las dos opciones incluyen postre, café, subasta silenciosa, acceso al bar y mucho baile!
