Terms and Conditions:
1. Eligibility
• Open to all (Class/Levels) players.
• Players must register prior to the tournament start date.
• Tournament organizers reserve the right to verify player skill levels and assign handicaps accordingly.
2. Handicap System
• Handicaps will be assigned based on known skill level, prior tournament performance, or organizer discretion.
• Race-to format will vary depending on handicap (e.g., Player A races to 8, Player B races to 5; refer to handicap chart for additional Money Ball).
• Any disputes regarding handicaps must be raised before the first match.
• Class A* Players from (Pro Level or similar)
• Class A Players from -4 to -3
• Class 1 Players from -2 to -1
• Class 2 Players from 0 to +1
• Class 3 Players from +2 to +3
• Class 4 Players from +4
• Class 5 Players (*Varies)
3. Format & Rules
• Standard 9-ball rules apply (Break Box, 2 Ball at the bottom apex/tail)
• 3‑Point Rule applies (must drive 3 object balls past the headstring or pocket a ball on the break)
• Lag determines break in the first game; alternate breaks thereafter.
• Winners Side: Race to 8 & Losser Side: Race to 7
• Time limits may be enforced to ensure tournament flow. Or
C3 against C3 ; score starts at 1 - 1
C4 against C4 ; score starts at 2 - 2
C5 against C5 ; score starts at 3 - 3
• No Golden Break on Handicap Ball(s): If the handicap ball is potted on the break, it does not count as a win. The game resumes after the ball re-spotted.
• No PUSH on Handicap Ball(s): If the handicap ball is potted on the push, The game resumes after the ball re-spotted.
• If a player with Handicap Ball(s) commits a foul and illegally pots the handicap ball, the ball stays down.
• If a player giving a Handicap Ball(s) commits a foul and illegally pots the handicap ball. The game resumes after the ball re-spotted.
4. Conduct
• Sportsmanship is mandatory. Unsportsmanlike behaviours may result in disqualification.
• No coaching during matches.
• Alcohol consumption must be moderate and respectful of others.
5. Equipment
• Players must use regulation cue sticks and balls.
• Jump cues are allowed unless venue policy prohibits.
6. Entry Fees & Prizes
• Entry fee must be paid in full before the tournament begins.
• Prize pool distribution will be announced prior to the start.
• No refunds unless tournament is cancelled.
7. Disputes & Decisions
• All disputes must be directed to the Tournament Director.
• The Tournament Director’s decisions are final.
8. Media & Promotion
• By entering, players consent to photography and video recording for promotional purposes.
• Players may be tagged or featured on social media platforms.
9. Liability
• Organizers are not responsible for personal injury, loss, or damage to property.
• Players participate at their own risk.
10. Amendments
• Organizers reserve the right to amend these terms at any time. Any changes will be communicated promptly.
