Brad DeBorde is an Actor, Writer, Director and Local Theatre teacher. He holds a BFA in Performance from The University of North Texas and Teaches Theatre at The Oakridge School. He has decades worth of Theatre and acting experience ranging from Shakespeare to the romantic comedy “Ten Years at Sea”. He’s the author of the Fantasy series, Paydunor, as well as a published playwright. He’s been playing D&D and other various Board Games and Tabletop RPGs for the past two decades and enjoys bringing his love for performance to the table.
“Tabletop RPGs, like Dungeons and Dragons, are about collective and collaborative storytelling. It’s about structured improvisation and the great rule of ‘yes and’. But most importantly, as with all entertainment really, it's an escape. For a couple of hours you get to be someone (or something) completely different and experience a fantastical world outside of our own.”
As a dungeon master, Brad views the rules as guidelines more than anything else and is open to his players trying to do ridiculous feats and silly things. At the end of the day, we are here to have fun and escape into a fantasy world of Improvisation, action and adventure. He admits he doesn’t know the rule book by heart, but that's okay. We are all on the same team at his table.
