Everyone is invited to join in for a free dance workshop featuring OURO Collective's Cristina Bucci. This workshop is supported by Dance West Networks.
Date: Saturday, October 21, 2023
Time: 2:30 pm - 4:00 pm
Ages: 13 years +
Registration capacity: 30 participants maximum
About the Workshop:
This class explores the various styles that choreographer Cristina Bucci has trained and explored throughout her vast career as a dance artist. The course will introduce you to different movement techniques, from contemporary to street dance styles, such as hip-hop and locking. We will start in the center for warm-up, gain more energy as we move across the floor, then end with some grooving, moving through each other and using the whole space, culminating in a dance party! Class is appropriate for ages 13 and up; no previous experience is necessary. Wear whatever you feel dancing in, clean indoor shoes or socks and bring a water bottle.
