BIO:
Dancing Plague makes broodingly intense and emotional dark electronic music.
On their fifth studio album, Elogium (released March 2024 on Avant! Records), the solo project explores themes of loss, regret, rebirth, and growth coupled with throbbing baselines, rave synths, and pounding drums along with their distinct emotional crooning vocals in a crushing blend of ebm, industrial, and darkwave.
Dancing Plague balances aggressive waves of electronics with enough pop sensibilities and catchy hooks to be inviting to those new to the genre.
For fans of classic icons such as Depeche Mode, Ministry, Nine Inch Nails, as well as contemporary torchbearers Cold Cave and Kontravoid.

PRESS:
“Dancing Plague has carved a niche in the dark and cold electronic music scene. Over the years, the act has become a stalwart presence, etching its mark with a distinctive fusion of EBM, goth, industrial, and synth genres. [They’re new album] Elogium stands as the fifth testament to his artistic evolution, wherein Knowles continues to refine and elevate his unique brand of crushing darkwave.”
- Furio Magazine
"In a brilliant fusion of aggressive electronic rhythms with pop hooks, Dancing Plague intertwines poignant lyrics with the complex emotions of uncertainty in life, love, and aspirations. Against a backdrop of throbbing basslines, rave-inspired synths, and dynamic drum beats, the stories weave through longing, regret, and the difficult acceptance of change and loss. Knowles’ emotive baritone voice adds depth, portraying the relentless passage of time’s erosion."
