Act 1: Dancing In The Light, Featuring MBU's Dance Program Students
Missouri Baptist University's School of Performing Arts shines a spotlight on the work of dance program students throughout the season. Students have studied in residence with professional guest artists and have worked alongside our esteemed faculty members to create the variety of dance works you'll see on stage.
Act 2: Pockets of The Big Easy, Featuring Al Holliday & The East Side Rhythm HornsPresented by STL Rhythm Collaborative
New Orleans is a city overflowing with culture, history, and music. In New Orleans, music reflects life. Pockets of The Big Easy is a brand new collaboration, featuring grooves and music styles associated with the rich musical heritage of New Orleans. We've been waiting on a collaboration like this for a long time. Who wouldn't want to tap dance?! Al Holliday & The East Side Rhythm Band Horns and moSTLy JAZZ combine to share soulful originals along with our favorite funk, R&B, swing, and jazz from The Big Easy.
There will be a brief intermission between acts.
