YIPPEE; WE ALL LOVED IT!! Mark your calendars for the 2nd & 4th FRIDAYS - WE'RE BOOKED!! Their awesome FISH FRY is available to us till 8 pm too!DJ Dave & I will be regularly at this new venue, the Elgin Moose Lodge (925 S. McLean Blvd., behind Titan Storage and just south & across the street from Elgin Community College). We'll be hosting ALTERNATING COUPLES & LINE DANCING, like at the Spotted Fox, for a $10 cover. I'll teach two lessons, depending on who's there, at 8:30 ish & 9:30 ish. Dancing will run from 7 - 11 pm.
The banquet hall here is HUGE - at least 3000 sf!! It's linoleum but that's the only drawback. It's big enough to have line dancers doing their thing in the middle of Two Steppers, like at Willowbrook!!
We'll have a bartender (& bar!) in the room all evening and access to their dinner menu till 8 pm. Prices are noticeably less than at a "regular" bar & restaurant, as this is a private club.
PLEASE RSVP TO JANET at 630.492.0401 or thru FB if you plan to eat so the Moose can allocate food. Since we are not taking pre-registrations, this will help - no one wants to run out of food!!
Enter thru the main door and hang a left to go into the banquet room. Only members may enter the social quarters past the restrooms. The Lodge has plenty of parking in a well lit lot; no worries there.
