When we gather on September 28 at the Interfaith Center for Spiritual Growth, we will focus on the Haudeenosaunee (Iroquois) Thanksgiving Address, which is spoken prior to events and ceremonies throughout the year. It acknowledges the sacredness of our earth, and our relationship with all that exists here – water, sun, wind, moon, and the wholeness of our lives. We'll dance from the Mayan tradition, and learn "Wishita", a fun dance done at powwow's. We'll sing to the Moon with the name, Nisa, from the Seneca tradition. There's no need to register or commit to anything other than being present. Just show up. Come solo or with a partner or a bunch of friends. Together, we can accommodate any abilities.

PS - If you have an acoustic instrument, like flute, violin, guitar, accordion, clarinet, contact Susan and let her convince you that your musical contribution will save the world. Guitar only requires a few chord changes and some strumming. Decorative violin and flute playing can be by ear. you will be part of a musical ensemble where there is great growth and pleasure in that meditative experience. You could choose to play on one or two tunes. We would get together before hand to go over them, to see which might suit you best. Drawing the line at tubas, however.
