Dearest Gentle Reader,You are cordially invited to learn to dance like the Bridgertons at Dances of Bridgerton! Bridgerton costume is welcome should you wish, but is not required - all are welcome to attend in whatever is comfortable for dancing.
Join dance mistress Susan de Guardiola in Middletown, Connecticut, for a class on authentic dances from the fabulous Bridgerton TV series! This workshop's focus dance is still to be determined. We will also review some or all of George and Charlotte's dance, Simon & Daphne's dance from Season 1 and the "Harmony" dance from Season 2. Plus, time permitting: a little bit of authentic Regency dancing for comparison!
No previous dance experience is required and no partner is necessary. Please bring clean shoes to protect the dance floor. Flat shoes with leather soles will be easiest to dance in -- no spike heels, please!
The class fee is $18.00 per person, in cash at the door -- no pre-registration needed; just show up! Or pay online in advance using Paypal or a credit/debit card for a special $15.00 advance rate.
Advance registration opens in late February.
Class will be held on Sunday, March 16th, from 2:00-4:00pm at Vinnie's Jump & Jive, 635 Main Street, Middletown, CT 06457. Note that some apps give the wrong address for Vinnie's. 635 is the correct street number.
