About this Event

We are delighted to announce our second Dancers’ Development Experience, designed to support and nurture the talented young dancers of the future. Modelled on our 2021 summer intensive, we are excited to open our doors to new members, aged 9-14 years old, to begin the participant journey with NYB.

A limited number of students will have the chance to work together as a company. Each day they will work intensively to hone their technical skills, develop their artistry and cultivate their creativity. These young people will develop their skills as company dancers, whilst experiencing first-hand the process of creating a new ballet inspired by NYB repertoire with a professional choreographer.

The Dancers’ Development Experience will include:

  • Daily Company Class
  • Company Rehearsals
  • An end of week sharing
  • The opportunity to work with respected industry professional teachers and choreographers.
  • The time to develop rehearsal skills and etiquette
  • The chance to develop drama skills with our in-house drama coach
  • The space to build confidence and resilience through a Moving Minds workshop.

This one-of-a-kind experience will provide an opportunity to develop your technical skills and provide a snapshot as to where your training can lead you.

Participants should be of an intermediate level of experience, for example RAD/ISTD/BBO Grade 5 and upwards.

Full fee for the one-week course: £450

Non-refundable deposit payable when completing the registration form: £50.

The remaining amount of the fee will be payable by 16 July 2022. A member of the NYB team will be in touch to discuss payment methods.

To apply please select ticket and then select Registration Fee, then Checkout. Please complete all information requested on the order/registration form.

NYB aims to facilitate a diverse range of applications by removing financial barriers; bursaries are available for applicants from low socio-economic backgrounds that meet our eligibility criteria. For more information click here.
