Conversation facilitated by Deeply Rooted Dance Theater.
Public Transportation: The MCA is near the Red Line / Chicago Station and the #3, #10, and #66 bus routes.
Parking: The parking garage is located on Chicago Avenue just west of Fairbanks Court and adjacent to the museum. The garage does not provide direct access to the museum. When you exit the garage, simply turn right and walk west up Chicago Avenue. The theater entrance faces Mies Van Der Rohe Way. The museum will provide $16 parking validation.
Accessibility: DanceChance will take place onstage in the Edlis Neeson Theater. The building and stage are wheelchair accessible.
Note: We recognize that this event is occurring during the end of Yom Kippur and that it may be inaccessible for some artists. If a Jewish dancemaker is interested in putting their name in the hat for the October DanceChance but is unable to attend the September event due to Yom Kippur, please contact [email protected] and a member of staff can place your name in the hat on your behalf.

DanceChance:
⭐ A monthly, informal gathering of works-in-process sharings and dialogue by local dancemakers working in any form.
⭐ Each month, 3 dancemakers share up to 10 minutes of work.
⭐ A facilitated discussion with participants and audience.
❗To be eligible for participation in the October DanceChance at Bim Bom Studios, artists MUST BE PRESENT at the September 25th event at the MCA to put their names in the hat for random draw. Participating artists receive $100 and video documentation of their sharing. Eligibility requirements: age 18-80+ and local.
