Dance Yourself Dizzy is back again at Winchester Guildhall! With another 2 Room Freestyle on Tuesday 16th July!As we only have a handful of Tuesdays so far, they would be too far apart to run successful class nights, so the Tuesdays we have will all be freestyles!
The 2 Room Tuesday Freestyles are usually very popular, so do not miss out!
Main Hall: DJ Danny with the best DYD mix of new hits, favourites & classic Modern Jive tunes.
2nd Room (Bar area): DJ Dene with his alternative down tempo mix of mostly smooth tunes with a helping of expressive later in the evening.

THERE IS NO LONGER A BAR SERVING AT WINCHESTER! Whilst we will hire in a bar for the Christmas Ball, there will be no licensed bar serving at the rest of our dates. Winchester Guildhall has agreed to allow dancers to bring their own drinks on Tuesdays (Except the Christmas Ball) and I have to share with you their guidelines for which of your own drinks you are allowed to bring along…
– Any soft drink
– 3 cans of energy drink
– 1 bottle of wine, prosecco or champagne equivalent ranging around 12-14% ABV
– 4 beers/ciders or equivalent ranging 4-6% ABV
– 4 cans of ready mixed spirits ranging 4-6% ABV
Not permitted;
– Spirits, either in their original bottles or decanted
– Any of the above or equivalent per person higher than the ABV %
Please abide by these rules – dancers don’t usually drink that much alcohol anyway – but we don’t want to lose the Guildhall again.
DYD will also ensure free tap water is available too.
PAY ON THE DOOR, or in advance. Tickets are £11 on the door OR £10 on the door when you show our text message – if you don’t already receive our freestyle text reminder (which gets you £1 off door price), but would like to receive it – then text DIZZY to 07530 841447. Advance tickets cost £10 and are available here, or from any DYD night.
Hand sanitizer is available both on the door and at the tables.
Freestyle night format…
7.45pm – Doors open.
8 – 11.00pm – Non Stop Freestyle in 2 rooms.
11.00pm – Close.
