From Katy: As I sit here writing this invitation to our upcoming Cleveland dance, I want to first acknowledge what a privilege it is for me to hold this space. GRATITUDE.
Many of you know me through our bimonthly ecstatic dances at Dance Your Soul and the incredible community that we’ve re-awakened over the last few years. I’m reflecting on what a surprise and amazing gift it was when Kurt asked me to take on the role of leading DYS! Around that the time, it was my plan to attend the 2020 5Rhythms Spaceholder training which was of course canceled. One door closed and another opened, and I couldn’t have asked for a better entry to community leadership in this way. It was and continues to be a joy to support this thriving community. And I have been holding the dream to become a 5Rhythms teacher still close to my heart, and I trust that day will come in the right timing.
In the meantime, the community here at hand is growing. My capacity has expanded, The Space has materialized, the music is waiting, and next all of you will come together to allow deeper healing, growth and connection for all of us. In this new space, on a new day, in a new awareness, I am incredibly humbled and honored to continue to share this powerful practice in Cleveland. To go within and stir what has been dormant, allow to emerge what has been banging on the door of your heart. I am grateful for your trust and know that as we heal ourselves with each dance, each step, each breath, we heal our world.
Here I will bring you 5Rhythms inspired experiences on a monthly-ish basis. ALSO, we will welcome certified 5Rhythms teachers as they visit our beautiful pocket of the world. No changes to our Richfield dances. More to come!

Dance Your Soul is an ecstatic dance, sober community movement experience held in a safe space where individuals come together to tap into their inner guidance and express their life through dance. Music is selected by each DJ specific to their vision for the dance. No experience necessary.
Movement Lab is a way to warm up and open up the body and mind prior to dance. Guidance provided by DYS DJs to engage in individual or partner/group exercises to deepen your connection and experience.�
�Note for newcomers: We post our events on various platforms and many "regulars" don't RSVP. Expect plenty of fellow movers, regardless of the numbers you see here :)
