IN THIS TRAINING YOU WILL LEARN HOW TO:
✨ Find confidence to share and amplify your voice, moving through blockages and old stories
✨ Create a safe sacred welcoming space for people to arrive into
✨ Build connection on the dancefloor
✨ Leading from embodiment
✨ Work with themes that bring cohesion and presence to your offerings
✨ Find your own unique style of facilitation that weaves in your authentic expression
✨ Discover your clear and relaxed facilitator voice
✨ Read the room and assess where people are at and how you can meet them
✨ Learn and practice different ways to lead warm ups, meditations and to bring people into presence in their bodies
✨ Deepen your understanding of an integrated cool down and explore different ways to complete a dance journey
This is an interactive hands on training. A space to come and deepen into your confidence as a facilitator. A place to practice in a held container and learn how to create embodied opening and closing for your dance offerings. A calling to step into your skills as a spaceholder and guide.

Naomi and Lila have been guiding ecstatic dance journeys for the past 12 + years as part of a collective of women holding Dance Temple, a thriving weekly conscious dance journey that happens both on Salt Spring Island and in Victoria on the West Coast of Canada. Many who have experienced Dance Temple have expressed that it’s their favorite dance floor which feels like a testament to the magic that has been woven and seeded through the many years of curating these spaces. Bringing their years of experience as facilitators, DJ’s and event producers, Naomi and Lila along with an experienced selection of guest teachers, give you a well rounded, interactive, supportive environment to feel confident and inspired crafting conscious dance journeys for your community. As Ecstatic Dance continues to grow, they are excited to support the expansion of this powerful movement medicine into more communities around the world.

The Conscious Dance Facilitator Training is part of the Dance Weavers Conscious Dance Program that includes training modules that build on each other, with each module also also available as a stand alone training.

When you sign up for the Full Conscious Dance Program you also be on the Leadership Track which guides you into the behind the scenes business setup of starting your own Conscious Dance. You will receive both the DJ & Music Curation Training AND the Facilitator Training plus a Q&A Call and two 1 on1 sessions with Naomi and Lila to support you in curating your own dance offering.
