♥️ Dance To Make A Difference Part 2!! ♥️The Friends of Manor Green are delighted to be be once again hosting this wonderful afternoon of talent, smiles, dance and music!
Following the enormous success of Dance To Make A Difference which was held in November we hoped that we may be able to bring this brilliant feel good event back to Manor Green. This event gave so much more than I had ever expected, our school hall came alive with joy, movement and smiles that lit up the room as much as the actual lights! The instructors delivered the most epic of dance routines performed with style, grace and bags and bags of personality. It was a privilege to see these 2 worlds collide - Zumba and our wonderful SEN community and to witness the impact and affect it had on us all - from the instructors, to Zumba lovers to students from across the SEN community, from Manor Green, The QEII school, Stageright and more!
We also raised an incredible £1300!!! This money has directly benefited both schools already enabling us to buy some specialised curved, colourful benches for our tranquil sensory garden, fund a communication project that can be used all the way through both the primary and the college and kitted out our entire football team so they can participate in games and training including with other local schools. So a great big thank you to everyone!!
So here we go again! The instructors including, Claire, Luis, Yassine, Hayley, Kirsty, Pachelle, Adrian and others to be confirmed are on their way back to share this with us all again and we can’t do it without you! So whether you came last time and can’t wait to come again, whether you saw it on socials or heard about it and want to see what all the fuss is about, or you’ve not joined us before and fancy spending your Saturday afternoon dancing to make a difference please purchase your tickets here!
