Our labyrinth is of an ancient design, based on the one discovered in Chartres, France: an eleven circuit, medieval labyrinth with four-fold symmetry. In addition to the traditional walking the labyrinth as a meditation, there is freedom of expression & expansive creativity that comes from the experience of moving your body, dancing in and on the sacred space of the labyrinth.
At 6:30 pm, we will begin with an opening circle. A taste of Kundalini Dance (combining breath, sound & movement) will be offered so that you can explore on your own during dance the labyrinth, with music that moves you. At 8:15 we will have a closing sharing circle.
If you are yearning to break out of old patterns & open to receiving Divine Guidance in a playful new way, join us to dance the labyrinth. If you’ve never danced on the labyrinth before, this experience may provide the freedom of expression, lightness of being & liberation that you’ve been looking for. AND the possibility of fun awaits you too.
Suggested items to bring:
- Slippers or socks
- Loose & comfortable clothing that you can easily move in
- Water Bottle (non-spilling)
- Yoga mat or padding to lay or sit on in the opening & closing circle
- Your journal, or paper and a writing utensil. (You may receive insights or messages that you want to remember)
