Dance Temple & Cacao Ceremony in Fort Collins ecstatic dance is a freeform dance & movement where participants connect to the rhythm and move freely as the music guides them, leading to deeper connection to themselves, and a natural state of ecstasy, without the use of drugs and alcohol.
people of all walks of life, shapes, and sizes are welcome to dance however they please. we honor each other and are mindful of one another and the shared space.
the main guidelines are that we refrain from speaking on the dance floor, honor the no drugs/substances/alcohol policy, and do not take any pictures or video of the dance floor or other participants.
we begin in an opening cacao circle to open the space and set our intentions for the event. we then transition into a freeform dance journey guided by a specially crafted playlist. at the end of the dance journey we close with a group meditation to ground and complete the experience.
