Durham Region's Social Dance Hub. Keeping Durham Region's Adult population dancing since 2013.The best way to become a better dancer is to Practice, Practice, Practice. So, don't forget to pencil us into your schedule. This is a low pressure, relaxed and friendly environment to enjoy your dancing and get in some practice time. Our music is a mix of ballroom and line dancing: To give everyone a chance to practice we play approximately 4 ballroom dances followed by 4 line dances and we continue to alternate throughout the evening.
Let our DJ's Joe and Hanna regale you with their lovely choice of music. If you have a particular song request, please fill out our song request form. and we will do our best to accommodate you. (Requests must be submitted by noon on the Wednesday before the dance. Maximum of 3 choices/person. Our ability to accommodate song requests will depend on the number of requests received. If you are requesting a line dance that is not being taught in our classes, you must be able to lead it)
Coffee, tea and water provided. Potluck snacks are encouraged but not mandatory.
How to Find us: Our venue is located at the Whitby Royal Canadian Legion; just one block west of Brock St., just south of Dundas (highway 2). We will be in the clubhouse on the lower level.
Parking: There is a small parking lot just south of the venue, a small parking lot off Dundas street just west of Byron, a large parking lot one block west (corner of Centre & Colborne next to the Whitby Library) and plenty of street parking.
