About this Event
Hello Soul Fam!
2pm: Herbal Infusion Opening Circle
2:30-4pm: Dance Ritual
4-5pm: Community Offerings
The intention of these Rituals are to create a safe space for movement, voice exploration, community connection and heart activation by returning to self-love and the medicine of our body, mind, and soul.
As a way to integrate our bodies, minds, and souls, we explore our movement with breath awareness and journey through a rainbow spectrum of music from medicine songs to mantras to eclectic dance and beyond.
In this sweet collaboration between Marisa Miquiztochtli Reyes and Lindsey Red-tail, they invite in celebration of life, radiating this joy inwards and outwards like a warm embrace. We are reminded that we can connect to the medicine of our bodies through music, playful improvisation, and fun!
We hope to dance with you!

Lindsey Red-tail was born and raised on unceded Tongva land in Altadena California, home to the Gabrieliño-Tongva people. Daughter to Teresa Luna and Gerard Lollie, she grew up in a home of eclectic world music, carrying Indigenous Mexican, Cherokee and African American roots. Red-tail teaches and co-creates dance as a way to connect to the community and to the elements. She believes that by taking time to witness nature always in communication alongside us, we can receive messages and transform our personal narrative, creating a new story. Red-tail's offerings are informed by her time hiking in the mountains singing and dancing for the ancestors. Find her on Instagram @redtail.dance
