About this Event
You’re invited to the Premiere of Episode 1 of The Dance Portrait Game Show!
Featuring:
Noelle Kayser – Choreographer
Laura Mendes – Dancer
Bradley Treadway – Music
Vito Gioia – Game Show Host
Brought to you by:
Andrew Weeks Photography
Join us for a one-of-a-kind game show where a choreographer and dancer move through a series of creative challenges. The outcome of each round determines the foundational elements of a brand-new original dance work , created by the choreographer and then performed by the dancer in front of our studio audience.
Be there for an evening of creativity, fun, and collaboration , and witness the art of dance as it’s being shaped, while the process itself is captured through authentic portraiture.
What to Expect:
• Enjoy drinks upon arrival and time to mingle with fellow guests — and meet our Game Show Host.
• Watch the premiere of the first part of Episode 2 on the studio screen.
• Be part of the live taping of Part 2 of Episode 2 — including the performance of Noelle's original piece, performed by Laura.
• And stay sharp — you’ll be invited to participate at the end of the show. No choreography or dancing required… just a little creative thinking.
Things to Know:
• This is only the second go around, and it’s all about the process. Expect a few hiccups, the occasional do-over, and the kind of beautiful unpredictability that comes with creating something new.
• This is both a portrait session and a game show — so bring the energy. Cheer. Laugh. Be a little foolish. Your presence is part of the atmosphere.
• This event will be filmed, recorded, and photographed. By attending, you acknowledge and agree that your image, likeness, and voice may be captured and used in connection with The Dance Portrait Game Show by Andrew Weeks Photography. Content may be shared on social media, websites, and other platforms for promotional and commercial purposes. No additional compensation will be provided for such use.
Lastly, truly — thank you for supporting this project. The hope is that this will be the first of many episodes and portraits, growing into something that becomes a true portrait of dance — its world and its inhabitants
