Progam:

Rust

Choreography by Ariel Grossman, Original Composition by David Homan & Stefania De Kenessey, Dancers: Amy Ashley, Kristin Licata, Kyleigh Sackandy, Hana Ginsburg Tirosh

  • Rust, is about the beauty of aging— the embarrassment, humor, and ultimate acceptance of physical, emotional, and internal changes. While sometimes ugly, aging is natural and mesmerizing, like the rust that appears on old metal.

No Words (Excerpt)

Choreography by Ariel Grossman, Original Composition by David Homan, Dancers: Kyleigh Sackandy and Hana Ginsburg Tirosh

  • In the spring of 2016 ARD began collaborating on No Words, a work in reaction to a particularly charged moment in our country. Instead of leaving current events at the rehearsal door, we processed uncertainty and frustration through dance. We have found that a movement dialogue has helped us channel fear, frustration and confusion into something impactful and still relevant today.

Holly

Choreography by Ariel Grossman, Original Composition by Stephanie Chun, Dancer: Caitlyn Casson

  • Holly is an emotional solo demonstrating athleticism and grace.
