We are delighted to welcome back DJ Natty who will be taking us on a dance journey this week.After being cracked open at I her first ecstatic dance experience in the mid-2000s, Natty has since been inspired to explore the transformative power of music and dance in connecting us to our truest nature.
Natty is a percussionist and singer who incorporates live djembe percussion, shamanic drumming, and soothing singing using shruti to craft a fully immersive and transformative experience for dancers.
With Persian heritage and a love for travel, she infuses her dance journey with Middle Eastern influences and inspiration from around the world. Expect a rich tapestry of sounds, drawing from tribal, jazz, funk, house, D&B, medicine music and everything in between.
Prepare for anything from deep tribal beats to Latin Jazz Funk to Afro House to dirty D n B to heart expansive medicine music and everything in between - you’re in for a treat.
There will also be a wonderful live drumming and a relaxing sound healing with vocals to finish.
