Often people ask, how did you do that, or how did you make that happen, or my personal favourite, how did you make me do that?This workshop is designed with elements in mind for both leads and follows to work on.
For the leads, we will be looking at how to change up your moves, and breakdown the movements, working on finessing the finer details. By looking at the elements of technique, cause and effect, helping leads to develop a clearer and more considerate lead.
In expressive dance, the role of the follow adds massively to the dance, but without knowing how and when to do so, this can leave the dance feeling disjointed and disconnected. In this workshop we will help follows understand the subtleties of the lead, and how to communicate to the leads, empowering follows to add your own blend of flare and style to your dance.
