About this Event
Monday 22nd July- Friday 26th July2024
Dance Leadership is the perfect way to diversify your offer by allowing learners to develop both their choreography and leadership skills. Over a number of tutored hours, learners will maximise their passion for dance whilst gaining life-changing skills, experiences and qualifications.
Upon successful completion of the course candidates will receive a certificate of qualification and 5 credits awarded by the Scottish Credit and Qualification Framework.
The Schools Sport Coaching Project, supported by the Gannochy Trust, offers Perth and Kinross Council School Pupils the opportunity to undertake introductory sports coaching/leadership qualifications. This is a great way to develop communication and leadership skills, build confidence, gain recognised qualifications and get some experience in sports coaching.
The course incorporates a primary school aged dance camp, giving leaders the opportunity to put into practice their learnings and assist with the running the camp.
