The Dance for Dance Festival is one of the initiatives by Kalavaahini Trust started in 2018 and this is the 5th edition of the Dance for Dance Festival in Chennai, during the December Music and Dance season have been curated by the renowned Bharatanatyam artist Malavika Sarukkai. The Dance for Dance festival has premiered performances of acclaimed artists to house-full shows while also showcasing younger talent to give them greater visibility. This was in response to the need for a well curated dance festival where both junior and senior artists could share their work in an environment conducive to fostering excellence. This 3-day festival will present solo and ensemble classical dance performances by artists from India and Internationally at Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan, Mylapore, Chennai, on December 20, 21 & 22, 2024. The Dance For Dance Festival 2024 - Chennai, is in association with Kartik Fine Arts and is managed by Shreya Nagarajan Singh Arts Development Consultancy.
