ACT is holding a DANCE ENSEMBLE AUDITION for "9 to 5" for those not interested in singing.Sunday January 25 at 4:30pm
ACT Rehearsal Hall, 1213 12th St, Altoona PA
Please enter through the back door, located off the parking lot behind Tom & Joes Diner.
This DANCE ONLY audition is to cast a special dance ensemble to do some advanced movement throughout the show, without any expectations to say lines or sing. Dance ensemble minimum age is 16.
Please attend the general auditions January 25 or 26 at 6 PM if you would like to be considered for any roles that include singing or acting, including ensemble. Auditionees interested in being considered for both an acting role and the dance ensemble will be given a chance to demonstrate advanced dancing skills immediately following the general movement audition.

ABOUT THE SHOW:
9 to 5, a musical based on the 1980 hit movie, is a laugh-out-loud story of friendship and revenge with music and lyrics by Dolly Parton.
Pushed to the boiling point, three female coworkers concoct a plan to get even with the sexist, egotistical, lying, hypocritical bigot they call a boss. In a zany turn of events, Violet, Judy, and Doralee live out their wildest fantasy – giving their boss the boot! While Mr. Hart remains “otherwise engaged,” the women give their workplace a dream makeover, taking control of the company that had always kept them down. Hey, a girl can scheme, can’t she?
