'Wouldn’t seem out of place at Cirque du Soleil.’ Everything Theatre Ekleido, SPLICE/ RORSCHACH. 'Splice' is a dance duet and 'Rorschach' a dance trio, both combining contemporary dance and club dance styles including Voguing, threading, and bone breaking. No text, no props - pure dance.Opening the programme is Ekleido’s critically acclaimed Splice in which two dancers find the balance between limitation and possibility to solve a physical puzzle. Completing the evening is Rorschach, a dance trio that reimagines the iconic Rorschach inkblot test.
Faye and Hannah have both individually had extensive dance careers within the contemporary dance world, commercial industry and underground club dance scenes, often crossing paths with each other on projects including Rambert, Years & Years and within The Ballroom Scene.
Ekleido’s work has been performed in venues and festivals including Sadler’s Wells Breakin’ Convention, Glastonbury Festival, Latitude Festival, The Place, and Ministry of Sound Ballet Nights, and commercial choreographic credits include: Marc Jacobs, Maison Margiela, NIKE, RAYE, British Vogue, La Roux.
