Lee Semley Theatre Productions are casting for company and dancers for our April 2025 production of Rock Of Ages.The audition will be in two sections.
Firstly all attendees will be taught a company routine. Anyone wanting to be a part of the show must participate. This routine will be challenging but will also cater to movers as apose to trained dancers. Please wear comfortable clothing and footwear. Heels are not required for this part of the audition. This is a company heavy show so our choreographer will want to see that you can all move and can adapt to the style of choreography the show will require.
Part 2 will be an advanced routine for trained dancers. This routine will be performed in heels. Do not bring character shoes. We are looking for heels.
The dancer in the show must be confident wearing sexy/revealing clothing. We ask for you to attend the audition in suitable attire. We want to see your body shape.

There is no parking outside the studio ( there is street room but we don’t like to upset the neighbours) but there is a large free car park round the corner.
Before attending an audition please read the following information.
Rehearsals for Rock Of Ages will commence on the 12th January 2025. Rehearsals are held in Barnsley on Sundays and cast members must be available from 12pm until 5pm.
Rock Of Ages will be staged at The Lamproom Theatre Barnsley w/c 14th - 19th April 2025.
7 public performances.
Cost to cast. One off show fees of £50 payable before/on the first rehearsal. For this production we will be asking all cast member to provide their own costumes and wigs if required. If there is any key costume pieces then the company will assist in providing these.
