UK banjo and guitar maestro Dan Walsh returns for a fourth tour of Australia to promote the brand new album ‘At The Station’. Famed for his virtuoso playing and winning songwriting, Dan has made a name for himself as one of the most innovative banjo players around with his unique and dazzling take on clawhammer banjo taking in influences primarily from Ireland and America but with significant nods to funk, jazz, blues and most strikingly his love of Indian music. Dan’s latest recording, his seventh solo album, definitely leans towards the American end of things with bluegrass and Americana at the forefront but with his staggering array of influences and extensive back catalogue you can expect a wide variety of sounds as well as poignant songs and lively humour.
