Born and raised in Daylesford, Daisy is a wannabe ’70s child who combines elements of folk, rock and soul to create a sound that pays homage to her musical heroes (anyone you’d find at Woodstock) while remaining distinctly her own.
The Friday 27 September show features support from award-winning Naarm-based artist Bumpy. Going by her childhood nickname – earned for a habit of bumping into all kinds of obstacles – Bumpy pulls from the strength found in tenderness, scars and all. With a voice that is equal parts tender and towering, she performs a shimmering collection of R&B and neo-soul that reveals an emotional, captivating, cheeky and hypnotic talent and is the perfect warm up to an unforgettable night with Dan Sultan.
