Dan Moretti & Brazilia | Sunday, January 11th | Live album release show | Doors at 6pm, music at 7pm | All ages | Full bar | Free pizza | $30Dan Moretti and Bazilia will again be Celebrating Wayne Shorter, with the national release of the album honoring the legendary jazz saxophonist, with a special performance at the Pump House Music Works in Wakefield, Rhode Island on January 11th. Last year the event brought together a fusion of jazz enthusiasts and local music lovers in this cozy, rustic setting, perfect for the soulful and innovative sounds that the album promised.
Dan Moretti, an acclaimed saxophonist and composer, led the performance, paying tribute to Shorter’s pioneering spirit with his own interpretations of classic Wayne Shorter compositions. Joining Dan again will be Grammy winner Oscar Stagnaro-Bass with Maxim Lubarsky - Piano, Steve Langone-Drums and Ernesto Diaz-Percussion.
The Pump House venue, with its intimate atmosphere, allowed for close engagement with the audience, making the night feel like a personal Latin-Jazz homage to Shorter. The combination of masterful musicianship and heartfelt tributes created an unforgettable night. Join us again to celebrate this music as a fund-raiser release and support the Pump House and the band. CD’s will be available as well as autographed posters. Get your tickets soon. We expect this to be a sellout.
