Not to be missed, our guest musician is DAN McCONKEY, a saxophonist and composer active in the London contemporary jazz scene. Dan has performed at venues such as Abbey Road, Ronnie Scotts, Pizza Express Live and as a soloist with Capital Orchestra at Cadogan Hall. He currently leads his own quartet, playing his own compositions and arrangements.Dan graduated with a first class degree from the Guildhall School of Music and Drama in 2019 where he studied with world-class musicians such as Iain Ballamy, Trish Clowes, Jean Toussaint and Gareth Lochrane. He was shortlisted for the prestigious Pete Whittingham Jazz Prize in 2023 and 2024 saw the release of his debut single "As You Are". Expect some exciting and sensitive virtuoso interpretations of jazz classics and standards accompanied by the resident Jazz Organisation rhythm section.
