About this Event
In collaboration with Anno Domini Gallery, High Art transcends the boundaries of performance and visual art, creating a mesmerizing fusion of movement, sound, and expression. Inspired by the upcoming exhibit featuring the visionary works of ZeroCents (Tel Aviv), this show is an ode to the raw beauty of street performance and the untamed power of urban artistry. His work, which depict an internal, perverse and nightmarish world, is based on hybridized images culled from the media and from pornography, combined in absurd syntax. Warped human relations, the injustices of consumer society and preconceived notions of gender are all manifest in such faintly apocalyptical, skeletal figures. Zero Cent's use of dark humor, abject themes, coarse rhetoric, slang and intentional misspelling are among his unique artistic trademarks.
High Art is not merely a show, but a visceral experience that invites audiences to journey into the depths of the human condition. The ethereal grace of aerial dancers suspended in time is complemented by the hauntingly beautiful tones of live violin, creating a soundscape that ignites the senses.
The powerful display of pole dance performance adds both strength and elegance, while sword ladder captivates with daring precision. The fluid artistry of aerial dance transports you through the air, and the rhythm of dance in various forms anchors the narrative, ensuring that every performance adds a layer of depth and emotion to the night.
High Art is an immersive journey, where the worlds of pole dance, aerial dance, sword ladder, dance, and live violin come together in a symphony of sight, sound, and movement, offering a truly transformative experience.
Each moment in High Art is an invitation to witness art as it lives, breathes, and evolves. With limited capacity, this intimate gathering promises a rare and profound connection between artist and audience. Step into a world where performance meets painting, where sound and movement collide, and where the streets become a gallery of human expression. High Art—a celebration of culture, rebellion, and beauty.
