dallas contemporary is proud to announce its inaugural staff exhibition, celebrating the diverse and dynamic creative talents of our dedicated team, curated by visitor services team members ryan semegran, lion roberson and jillian wendel. as a non-collecting arts space and a leading kunsthalle, dallas contemporary is committed to presenting the forefront of contemporary artistic practice. this unique exhibition highlights the personal art practices of our staff, showcasing how their individual creativity informs and enriches their professional roles within the museum.

dallas contemporary staff exhibition features works from the visitor services and office staff. as professional museum workers, many of dallas contemporary’s team members have rich artistic practices outside the museum, representing a broad range of art disciplines from photography to painting, fashion, sculpture and performance,” says co-curator jillian wendel. "furthermore, many staff have undergone formal training through art schools in the dallas-fort worth area and beyond, and some will even depart from the team to expand their practices through graduate programs in other areas of the country. we are incredibly grateful to the museum and its directors for making this all possible”.
