The Community Police Oversight Board meetings are held every 2nd Tuesday of each month, except for the month of July (City Council Recess). Meetings are held at Dallas City Hall, 1500 Marilla, City Council Chambers, 6EN, or City Council Briefing Chambers 6ES. There is also a virtual meeting option via WebEx. Meetings begin at 5:30 p.m. Anyone requiring auxiliary aid, service, and/or translation to fully participate in the meeting should notify the Office of Community Police Oversight (OCPO) by calling (214) 671-8283, three (3) business days prior to the scheduled meeting. A video stream of the meeting will be available twenty-four (24) hours after adjournment by visiting https://dallastx.new.swagit.com/views/113. Individuals and interested parties wishing to speak may request in advance of the meeting until 12:00 p.m. the day of the meeting. You can request to speak by contacting the OCPO by calling 214.671.8283 or [email protected]. However, if you miss the deadline to sign up to speak in advance of the meeting, you can sign up in person at City Hall or via WebEx. Public comment is heard at the beginning of the CPOB meetings and at the end of the meeting.
