Starting in the lively venues of New Orleans, Louisiana, and the Mississippi Gulf Coast, he perfected his act in bars, saloons, and daiquiri shops—essentially anywhere with a mic and stage; he has also graced the stages of renowned clubs like The Funny Bone and The Comedy Zone. Tee Ray also spent several years at the renowned Houston Laff Stop, where he became a local favorite. His career has since taken him to comedy clubs, theaters, and casinos across the country.
Recognized as one of the best in the region, Tee Ray opened for Theo Von's Netflix special "No Offense" and had a headlining spot on the Amazon Prime special “Lunchbox Comedy Live from Ground Zero,” filmed at Morgan Freeman’s Blues Club in Biloxi, MS. Over the years, he has shared the stage with numerous comedians, including Theo Von, Mark Normand, Sean Patton, David Lucas, Eddie Griffith, and more. He also hosted shows for Kenan Thompson’s ‘Kenan Presents’ comedy contest.
