Repack morning and afternoon sessions - B Hall- Ilkley Grammar School - Cowpasture Road Entrance
During the repack day you will have the opportunity to repack your reserve parachute under the guidance of Guy Richardson, Ginger Nomad and other qualified assistants.
At the beginning of each session there will be a short presentation, after which taking turn in pairs you will be able to throw and re-pack your reserve with the use of the hall.
This session’s purpose is to oversee people re-packing their own reserves, it should not be viewed as a re-pack directly undertaken by a qualified person. Instruction will be given but essentially this is a DIY exercise. Alternatively, you can leave your reserve with one of the qualified packers who will take it away to send back to you - professionally repacking it and providing a certificate. This service attracts a different fee and it is likely that this will require the reserve being taken away and couriered back.
Please note:
- Regallos & Beamers will not be repacked on the day as they are too complicated.
- Reserves over 10 years will not be repacked.
- There are morning and afternoon sessions and it will be necessary to keep to your booked session to manage the hall capacity.
Special discounts on new reserves and accessories will be available on the day from Guy Richardson.
Please ensure you are familiar with your re-packing instructions. You are advised to have a printed copy of instructions (with long boot lace if required for the operation) since electronic devices are not as clear. Manuals are available for your reserves online.
To accomodate people within the hall space we have organised 2 sessions. Please ensure that you are prompt to start and leave your session, plus ensure any rubbish is taken with you (especially discarded rubber bands).
