You are invited to the June 20th, Dakota Prairie Chapter Meeting of the North Country Trail Association. We will meet at the main Fargo Library in the community room from 6-8 pm. Snacks will be provided starting at 6 pm.The meeting will present information on using maps and digital trail aids. We will cover printed materials, the interactive trail map, along with the apps Avenza and Far Out. The presentation will show how to use these aids. There will be information on GPS and how that works with these trail aids. These trail aids for North Dakota can be found at this web site https://northcountrytrail.org/.../trail-map-and-downloads/ .
After the presentation participants will be asked to use their own phone or other devices to try out the aids. Prior to coming you may want to download the Avenza app and Far Out app. Far Out does require payment for their data. So come with questions and your devices.
