Dakhleh Oasis: ArchaeologyFind out more about the Dakhleh Oasis Project. Since 1977, an international team of specialists have pursued various lines of research including landscape, climate and environmental evolution, as well as human culture throughout history. This talk with Prof Tony Mills, Chair of the Dakhleh Oasis Trust and Director (1978-2005) of the Dakhleh Oasis Project, will introduce the oasis, its unique location, climate and historical timeline.Tony will also introduce the Dahkleh Oasis Project itself, its field programmes, rationale, and the future of the project.
This event will be a talk followed by a Q & A.
