Hello everyone, This is a support group for anyone who has lost a loved one. It's a safe place to be able to share our experiences of grief, with others who may be experiencing some of the same struggles and the loneliness that so often a big part of our grieving.
We meet every 2nd and 4th Tuesday in the month, at 1:30 pm - 3:00 pm, and hire All Saints' Church Hall, Matlock, on Smedley Street. It has it's on car park too.
We start with a drink, a biscuit and a chat, and a chance to get to know each other and even make new friendships.
We then have a circle time, and a focus for the week - sometimes sharing poems about grief, we may share photos of our loved one, or we may even share songs that comfort us. There is an opportunity to join in, but there's no pressure to do so.
