About this Event
Navigating Ethical Challenges in AI and Education: Interactive Session & Role-Playing Game
During this session, we’ll delve into the ethical issues raised by the growing integration of Artificial Intelligence in Education (AIED). As AI becomes increasingly embedded in educational systems, it’s important to consider both the opportunities and challenges that it brings.
Based on her current research, Bhoomika Agarwal will explain key concepts of AIED ethics. Following this, we’ll participate in a role-playing game where we’ll step into the shoes of different stakeholders, such as students, teachers, and developers, to discuss ethical questions concerning AIED. We want to highlight the diverse perspectives that need to be considered and potential conflicts that can arise when balancing ethical principles in AIED.
As AI continues to shape educational landscapes, we want to ensure that these technologies are developed, implemented and used responsibly. Join us to explore how we can work together to navigate these challenges and work towards a fair future for AIED. Looking forward to see you there!
