Jeff Walker has been training in Bujinkan since 1989, beginning his training with Papasan. Since then, he has traveled to Japan almost every year to train with the Japanese teachers there, specifically with Nagato sensei. He retired from the military after 23 years of service in Army Special Forces and counterterrorism and counterintelligence operations overseas and in the U.S. His final assignment was Superintendent of Counterintelligence in the DC area. As a result of training with Papasan and Dick Severance, and a product of a largely broken down and aged body, his focus now is mostly on subtle techniques of balance and control without force and on knife and cane techniques. This will be the focus of this training, so bring a training knife (or 5) and a cane/handbo as they will probably come into play at different points. The dojo has a small supply of weapons if you don’t have one.This seminar is open to anyone who is interested. The training fee will be $40. Payable by Venmo or at the door.
We train inside Arrow Athletics 2125 Express Drive, Jackson,Tn 38305. The mat space is located in the back left corner of the building.
