Spending a day at a flower farm during the height of dahlia season AND a chance to create watercolor art to take home - sounds like exactly the afternoon escape you’ve been looking for! We continue with our Plein Air workshop series with our dear friend and artist Sam Testa of Right Place Studio! Sam is a fantastic watercolor artist, hand lettering and etching extraordinaire - and just about one of the best teachers around! And she will be here to enjoy a beautiful fall day and share her tips on painting dahlias right here on the farm!
Sam will teach us all the basic techniques of watercolor art along with helping us create our own piece to celebrate the best of dahlia season.
And that's not all!
In addition to touring the farm and getting lots of photo ops in the field, your ticket also includes the chance to create your own bouquet from a custom bouquet bar filled all the best of the season!
This is a ticketed event for Saturday, October 5th that includes painting materials, light bites and sips, materials for bouquet making from our bouquet bar and a farm tour.
