When does a joke become a dad joke? When the punch line becomes apparent.Think you've got what it takes to go head to head in a Dad Joke Competition? Well pull up your ankle socks, strap on those dusty white new balance sneakers, hike up your pants...groan and join us this August 16th at 7 pm - 9pm.
Gin Benavidez will be hosting the event and calling the shots -and she knows her way around a dad joke or 2 having hosted this competition for years in Austin at the Brewtorium
Schedule of events:
-Intro and ground rules by Gin Benavidez (let's keep it clean and family friendly)
-Dad Jokes Round One (2 minute limit)
-Dad Fashion Show (you can enter this separately if you so desire)
-Dad Jokes Round Two (2 minute time limit)
-Voting for your favorite Dad Joke Contestant
-Ultimate Dad Obstacle Course
-Winner Crowned
You can register to participate ahead of time by emailing [email protected] with your info and best dad joke, OR you can sign up the day of.
Winner takes all the GLORY and some cool prizes.....
