The community is invited to join the City of Kyle for the Dacy Lane Facility Town Hall on Wednesday, January 29 from 6:30-8 p.m. at Kyle City Hall, 100 W. Center Street.This come-and-go style event will offer residents the chance to provide input on the types of usage — with an emphasis on programming for seniors — they would like to see at the new senior activities and multi-purpose building on Dacy Lane.
This 10,650-square-foot indoor facility, located at 1500 Dacy Lane, will serve as a community hub, and the city wants your feedback to help shape its programming and final design. Whether you’re interested in fitness classes, educational opportunities, or other recreational activities, your voice matters. City staff will be available to answer questions and speak with residents directly about how the facility will meet the needs of our community.

The City of Kyle purchased the new facility on Dec. 31, 2024. On Jan. 7, 2025, Council approved a contract with Brinkley Sargent Wiginton Architects, Inc., for public and stakeholder input, feasibility study and report, interior space and design concepts, schematics, and budget development. In addition to the town hall, input will also come from two focus groups and the Parks, Recreation and Open Space Master Plan Survey that took place in late 2024. Public input results and design options will come back before the Parks and Recreation Board and Kyle City Council in early 2025.
The City of Kyle Parks and Recreation Department is eager to incorporate community feedback into both the programming and design process to ensure 1500 Dacy Lane meets the needs of all residents. Come share your ideas and help us create a space that works for YOU!
