The daCi Utah Day of Dance is a festival for families, local and rural schools, and dance studios to experience hands-on instruction in dance arts and the creative process. In this multigenerational event families and friends create new dance works and perform together. This year's event includes a focused morning session for young dancers and studios, and a multigenerational event in the afternoon at Tanner Dance. We are so grateful for our co-hosts and sponsors Tanner Dance and Ririe-Woodbury Dance Company. Morning Session (10 am) - Rose Wagner Performing Arts Center
Studio dancers will work with members of the Ririe-Woodbury Dance Company and receive instruction in technical, improvisation, and composition skills. Studio owners and dance group directors will have the opportunity to collaborate and network together during this time.
Afternoon Session (2 pm) - Tanner Dance Studios
Families, friends, and studios gather to share in a series of workshops designed for all ages, experience, and abilities. Focused on offering various dance arts and collaborating in the creative process, all participants get the opportunity to move, create, and share something new!
